Emmy Nominations I'm excited about.
- "Curb Your Enthusiasm" for Best Comedy.
- "Family Guy"'s lack of a nomination for Best Comedy.
- "Breaking Bad" and "True Blood"'s nominations for Best Drama.
- Conan's nomination for Outstanding Variety, Music, or Comedy Series.
- "South Park" and "The Ricky Gervais Show"'s nominations for Outstanding Animated Program.
- Larry David and Matthew Morrison's nominations for Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for their performances in "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and "Glee."
- Charlie Sheen's lack of a nomination for Best Actor in a Comedy Series for "Two and a Half Men."
- Lea Michelle's nomination for Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for "Glee."
- Ty Burrel, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Eric Stonestreet's nominations in Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for "Modern Family" and Chris Colfer's nomination in the same category for "Glee."
- Julie Bowen and Sofia Vergara's nominations for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for "Modern Family," as well as Jane Lynch's for "Glee" (if she doesn't win for her performance, I may never forgive the Emmys.)
- Matthew Fox's nomination for Lead Actor in a Drama Series for "Lost."
- Glenn Close's nomination for Lead Actress in a Drama Series for "Damages."
- Aaron Paul, John Slattery and Martin Short's nominations for Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for "Breaking Bad," "Mad Men" and "Damages."
- Rose Byrne's nomination for Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for "Mad Men" and Christina Hendricks and Elizabeth Moss's nominations in the same category (although Moss's nomination does seem a bit odd considering she was nominated in the Lead Actress category last year.)
- Sir Ian McKellan's nomination for Lead Actor in a Miniseries or Movie for "The Prisoner."
- Neil Patrick Harris and Mike O'Malley's nominations for Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for "Glee."
- Tina Fey and Betty White's nominations for Guest Actress in a Comedy Series for "Saturday Night Live."
- Ted Dansen's nomination for Guest Actor in a Drama Series for "Damages."
- Lilly Tomlin's nomination for Guest Actress in a Drama Series for "Damages."
Emmy snubs I'm far from excited about.
- "Dollhouse"'s snub for Best Drama.
- "Survivor"'s snub for Outstanding Reality Competition Program.
- "Archer"'s snub for Outstanding Animated Program.
- John Krasinski's snub for Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for "The Office." Seriously, it's been six years, just nominate the guy already.
- Jason Segal, Tracey Morgan, and Danny DeVito's snubs for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for "How I Met Your Mother," "30 Rock" and "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia." Say what you will about Morgan's "arc," but he may be pound for pound the funniest actor on television, and DeVito takes comedy to a place that no one else dares to go to on this show.
- Alyson Hannigan's snub for Best Supporting Actress in Comedy Series for "How I met Your Mother."
- Alexander Skarsgård's snub for Lead Actor in a Drama Series for "True Blood."
- Anna Gunn's snub for Lead Actress in a Drama Series for "Breaking Bad."
- NOT ONE of the "Seinfeld" cast getting a nomination for their guest spots on "Curb Your Enthusiasm."
- Cat Deely's snub for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality-Competition Program for "So You Think You Can Dance."
- And finally, ABSOLUTELY NO nominations whatsoever for "Community," especially for Chevy Chase in the supporting and direction category for the episode "Modern Warfare." However I will maintain that if this show stays on the air, Emmy will come around.

Archer was probably the funniest show on television last year. It boasts some of the sharpest writing, well-carved characters and a rapid fire barrage of (actually funny) jokes throughout each episode. (Continued…)
