Coaching candidates and DePaul eyeing some arena real estate

The speculation as to who will be DePaul's new head basketball coach is at an all-time high. Since Jerry Wainwright's midseason firing, DePaul has stayed quiet in terms of who they are looking at as a potential coaches.
Athletic Director Jean Lenti Ponsetto has simply said that they will explore all available options and determine what is best for them.
With the Blue Demons's horrific 8-23 season now over after being eliminated in the first round of the Big East tournament by South Florida, speculation is sure to hit a fever pitch this week in Lincoln Park.
All names, big and small, have been flying around since Wainwright's firing on January
11.

DePaul has made it clear in the past that they are always looking for the possibility of an on campus arena. The Chicago Tribune reported that DePaul is "quietly working" to see if the current location of the A. Finkl Steele Company at Clybourn and Cortland is a viable site for a new arena.
The university is also reportedly researching a site at Division and Clybourn as well.
